This album covers some of the songs I have written over the last forty years. Ranging from The Old Copper Kettle which was written in the early sixties to more modern day songs like Another Outback Morning and Big Red Rock on which I was pleased to be joined by Freddy Fender. I've called it Volume One because there are many, many more songs that will fit under this SONGMAKER heading and not all of them will are available on disc anymore. Several of these are re-recorded versions like The World's Greatest Mum, Highway 31, and She's My Kind of Woman, whilst I Love You So Rebecca, Lord I'd Forgotten, An Ad In The Weekly Times, There's A Shadow On The Moon Tonight and most of the others are the originals. If any one of these is a favourite of yours I hope you'll enjoy hearing it again and that by playing the whole CD you may even find a couple more tunes that you like.
